I registered for membership to the Science Bus Club website, but I can't log in. Why?
There are two possible solutions to this problem.

  • Firstly, did you continue through to the Paypal system and pay for the membership? If you did, then did you return back to the Science Bus Club website once you have paid using the links provided?
  • If you failed to pay or paid but then closed down your browser window before returning to the site then please contact the Support team at support@sciencebusclub.co.uk to set up your membership.
  • Secondly, if you paid and returned to the website then please check your security and privacy settings and make sure that cookies are set to Medium (default) . To find out how to do this for Internet Explorer then click here or if you are using Mozilla Firefox click here.
  • If you are still having problems with logging in using Internet Explorer then we recommend downloading and using Firefox instead - it's FREE!

I've forgotten my password, how can I find out what it is?
If you can't remember your password then go to the forgot password page. Enter your username and we'll email you your password using the email address you registered with.

I want to change my password, how can I do this?
For security reasons you can only change your password by emailing the support team and asking them to change your password. Email them at support@sciencebusclub.co.uk providing them with your new password.

I can't view the 3D objects linked to in the Ask Albert section. How can I fix this?
There are two possible solutions to this problem.

  • Firstly, have you installed the FREE Cortona VRML viewer? You will need this browser plugin installed to view the Earth and International Space Station models.
  • Secondly, if you have already installed the plugin and are running Internet Explorer, we have noticed that on high security settings the viewer will not work. We suggest you try and run the VRML viewer within Mozilla Firefox instead.

The VRML viewer works, but all I can see is a black viewing screen?
The 3D models do not automatically fit into the viewing space. In the bottom-right of the viewing window on the grey toolbar you'll see a button called 'fit'. Click on this to centre and fit the 3D model into the viewing window.

I can see the models but they are grey or there are colours missing. Why?
The 3D models have to load in the 'textures' or graphics that wrap around the grey frame which you can see. Please be patient and wait a few moments while the textures download.

I can't view the Quiz Answer sheet or listen to the podcast
